Our Club was organized as a Minnesota Corporation in 1987 by a group of energetic snowmobilers. |
The trail referred to as 'The missing link' is approximately 56 miles long and connects the Munger Trail to the North Shore Trail around the City of Duluth. We are also connected to the 'Main Corridor Trail' East of Superior, Wis. We are a Grant-in-aid trail with the permission of private property owners by signed permits obtained by the club. The trail is maintained by club members. We ask that you treat our trail with respect for the property owners and obey our signs as you travel through our scenic community.
We have several club events scheduled throughout the winter for members.
Meetings are held the Third Thursday of the month, September to May, at the AmericInn in Proctor at 7:00 P.M.
They say it always snows in Duluth, some years more than others. As of December 24 we have six to twelve inches of snow for ground cover. We started to groom and as more snow arrives we will keep the trail open. Please obey the signs on the trail. Because if you do not, we will lose this connection to the northern trails. THANK YOU.
